Target vaccination efforts to these five CDC priority groups
Due to the current low volume of H1N1 vaccine available for distribution, vaccination efforts will be distributed to only
these five priority groups as recommended by the CDC. As more H1N1 vaccine become available,
vaccination efforts may be expanded to include other at risk groups.
Target groups include:
o Pregnant women
o People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age
o Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel with direct patient contact
o Persons between the ages of 6 months and 24 years old
o People ages of 25 through 64 years of age who are at higher risk for 2009 H1N1 because of chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems.
